Parents,

     This is a reminder that for Kumon's Reading Face Off! For the entire month of June we are having a friendly competition to see who reads more! The boys or the girls! There is a weekly prize for the team with the leading number of pages at the end of the week. The person on each team with the most number of pages read will be the MVP for their team, and the winning team (the one that reads the most pages) will get a SECRET SURPRISE! All Elden Street Kumon students are able to sign up, and are encouraged to do so!

     This is also a rule reminder for students who are already enrolled.

• Students are to submit the name of the book and the author to a Kumon Instructor.
• Students must report the number of pages read weekly.
• Students must bring their books in to the center for oral questioning.

     These rules must be followed; failure to adhere to the rules will result in the number of pages read for each book to be nullified until the student brings in each book they have read for the contest and does the oral questioning.

     Last week the boys were very confident that their team would win, as they had more teammates. However, by the end of the week the girl's team gained many students. The boy's team currently has twenty one participants and the girl's team has twenty nine! We're hoping to have even more students sign up, help their team out, and go for the secret surprise, so please encourage your children to join and read as much as possible!
